À propos de Montana
Dans ses motsPronouns: They/She
Montana's area of practice is in Uterine and Period Support, including Peri-Natal care, C-Section Scar Treatment, Painful Period Support, and Pelvic Health Support for folks with a uterus. They are happy to work with trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming folks who would otherwise fall into the aforementioned demographic.
During an appointment, you can expect a treatment approach focused on manual therapy, education, and encouragement of patients to be engaged with their health. They believe one of the best ways to support patients is to provide them with the tools to manage their concerns outside of the treatment room - this may include strengthening, stretching, walking routines, breathing exercises, etc. Referrals to other practitioners may also be provided.
Montana is keen on providing a safe, welcoming environment for their patients to seek care, without compromising your goals and expectations.
Treatment Styles, Areas of Support: Therapeutic Massage, Pressure Point Release, Pin & Stretch, Activities of Daily Living Support & Management, Pain Management for Painful Uterine Conditions (ie. Back pain from endometriosis), Peri-Natal care, Post-Partum Recovery.

Massage for Pelvic Health can help address pain and other concerns related to conditions like PMOS (PCOS), PMDD, Endometriosis, and other conditions that can present with musculoskeletal symptoms. « In this treatment the focus is on exploring the relationship of the nervous system & myofascial connection of the TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) to the pelvis (specifically uterine pelvic health). True relaxation and long term nervous system regulation/support is a main goal of this treatment, aiming to ease the sensitivity of the nervous system.
With an emphasis on relieving myofascial tension around the jaw, face, neck, and chest, this can encourage relaxation of the nervous system, while also addressing specific TMJ concerns.
Abdominal massage, Visceral Manipulation, and treatment of the surrounding myofascial structures will be included for a further therapeutic relief.
