About Nancy
Nancy is a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Social Work, a Master of Social Work and a Certificate in Teaching Effectiveness. She provides individual, couple and family counselling to children, adolescents, adults and seniors of diverse cultures, religions, abilities, sexual orientation, and expression identity to help with any challenges hindering their everyday lives. This includes Addiction, Anger Management, Anxiety, Assertiveness, Attachment, Blended Families, Body Image, Burnout, Caregiving, Communication, co-parenting conflict, Depression, Divorce/Separation, Employment, Feeling of Sexual Inadequacy, Family Violence, Immigration adjustment, Intergenerational Issues, Job Satisfaction, Life Transitions, Loss, Parent-Child Conflict, Post-Partum Depression, Relationship, Self Esteem, Stress, Suicide Ideation, Surviving Physical, Sexual and Emotional Abuse, Work Related Conflict. Nancy provides 2S-LGBTQ+ safe space within an Anti-Oppressive Practice perspective. She utilizes Trauma-Informed Brief Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavior Therapies to support her clients in achieving their goals within an Anti-Oppressive Practice perspective.
