About Navjot
Navjot is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers and
holds a Master of Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. With over
12 years of experience across Los Angeles County and the Fraser Valley, she has
worked with diverse populations across various ages, communities, and settings. This
breadth of experience has shaped her ability to provide thoughtful, evidence-based
psychotherapy to adolescents, young adults, adults, and families.
Navjot specializes in supporting neurodiverse individuals (ASD & ADHD), as well as
those experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, complex trauma, personality
disorders, and substance-related challenges. She is deeply committed to providing
inclusive, culturally responsive care, while also advocating for individuals and caregivers
navigating neurodiverse and mental health needs.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centred, drawing from a range of
evidence-based models including CBT, trauma-focused CBT, CBT-ERP for OCD, CBT
for psychosis, DBT (for both personality disorders and developmental disabilities),
Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy,
narrative therapy, family systems, and attachment and behavioural approaches. She
also brings over a decade of experience in conducting biopsychosocial assessments,
treatment planning and providing diagnoses using the DSM-5/TR framework.

Beyond the Therapy Room: Outside of her clinical work, Navjot is passionate about
photography, exploring the outdoors—whether walking, hiking, or biking—and
discovering new destinations through travel.
She values time with loved ones and lives by the words of Maya Angelou: “If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.” Navjot also embraces the wisdom of William James:
“The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.”
