About Nora
I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with a diverse background supporting clients with complex conditions across a variety of settings. Passionate about helping others, I take a collaborative, client-centred approach focused on achieving meaningful goals in a safe and supportive environment. I value direct, practical therapy and aim for clients to leave each session with something valuable they can apply to daily life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two boys exploring the island, hiking, biking, camping, traveling, cooking, boating and kayaking.Nora has extensive experience in mental health management (PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions), chronic pain management, home and work assessments, work conditioning programs, ergonomic assessments, case management and return to work programs. In addition, she has experience in functional capacity evaluations and cognitive functional capacity evaluations. She enjoys being a lifelong learner and is always seeking additional education and training to improve her clinical skills to better help her clients. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Chronic Pain Management in 2015 as well as, training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. Nora’s treatment approach centres around collaborating with the client and their treatment team to ensure the most positive outcome.
When not working, Nora enjoys spending time with her husband and their two energetic boys, hiking, biking, camping, traveling, cooking, kayaking, and honing her archery skills.
