About Oana
Oana is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) completing her Master’s in Counselling
Psychology. She supports adults facing anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, workplace
stress, and immigration challenges.
Oana recognizes how difficult it can be to navigate career concerns, job loss, or major life
changes such as moving to a new country and adjusting to new institutions, expectations, and
identities. Her approach is collaborative, goal orientated, and compassionate. With a
background in human resources, she brings a strong awareness of workplace dynamics,
organizational expectations, performance pressure, and career issues to her practice.
Oana helps clients make sense of what has been weighing on them and build practical tools
they can use right away—such as managing stress, strengthening boundaries, and improving
work–life balance. She also offers support with perfectionism, procrastination, executive
functioning, and self-esteem. Together, she works with clients to shift unhelpful thought patterns,
make room for difficult emotions, reconnect with their values, and take steps that move them
forward.
Oana integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
(CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy into her practice, and she provides a welcoming,
nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly examine their feelings, thoughts and
experiences.
Oana speaks Romanian.
