About Osman
Osman is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Master’s of Counselling Psychology candidate with over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across hospital, community mental health, post-secondary, and youth justice settings. He brings a warm, and person-centered approach, integrating CBT, DBT, SFBT, EFT, trauma-informed care, and structural therapy to help clients explore their history, values, relationships, challenges, and strengths at a pace that feels safe and collaborative. Osman has provided crisis support through the Calgary Distress Centre and has facilitated mental health workshops within his cultural and faith communities. Born in Western Canada to South Asian parents, he understands the complexities of navigating multiple cultures and identities, and is committed to supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ communities. His areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict, life transitions, cultural identity, emotional regulation, stress, burnout, and more.
