Dans ses motsPayton graduated from the Michener Institute with an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody in 2021. Prior to attending Michener, Payton studied at the University of Windsor where she received an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a specialization in Movement Science.
She started playing hockey at a young age and played competitively until university, then continued to play senior hockey in her hometown of Stratford before moving up north. Payton has a passion for health, fitness & sports, and has worked as a certified personal trainer. Engaging in sports and as a personal trainer has allowed Payton to develop a vast knowledge in sports rehabilitation, biomechanics & lower limb injuries. Before joining Georgian Sports Medicine & Physiotherapy she worked at The Waterloo Foot Clinic & Think Feet Family Foot Clinic. At her previous practice sites Payton practiced full scope Chiropody, using her passion for helping others to create a personalized treatment plan for each patient to help alleviate pain & address all foot care needs. Payton has formed a firm grasp on therapeutic concepts ranging from pharmaceuticals and wound care to orthotics and soft tissue surgeries.
Outside of work you can find Payton spending time outdoors with her boyfriend and adorable goldendoodle Oshie, working out at the gym, and simply enjoying time with family & friends.
