OFFERING IN-PERSON SESSIONS
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Counselling Psychology. I have additional clinical training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Internal Family Systems Theory, all of which I draw from when working with clients.
As a therapist, I believe that to improve our lives, we need to change the way we think about ourselves, others and the world around us. I work mainly with adults and couples facing a variety of obstacles in life. Some of these include depression, anxiety, anger, grief, loss, relationship issues, self-esteem, and other adjustment issues. I help individuals identify and change self-limiting beliefs and behaviour /relationship patterns in order to improve their emotional functioning. I strive to provide clients with the appropriate support, guidance and skill development to gain new perspectives, acceptance, and resilience to meet each of their unique needs.
