Phil Nelson
À propos de Phil
Dans ses motsI’m Dr. Phil, an experienced chiropractor that loves helping people perform at their highest level. Going through life and experiencing many sports injuries and surgeries myself, I am able to relate and help you overcome the many hurdles involved with recovery.
Beginning practice in 2012, I have always been fortunate to work with high level athletes. For nearly a decade I worked with the Alberta Ballet, and as well got to travel and treat rodeo athletes with the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine Team. Since moving to Toronto I am grateful to have the opportunity to be treating professional hockey players (NHL/AHL/PWHL) and help them perform at their best.
In my practice I find the best results come from tailoring a treatment plan specific to your needs and concerns. Different techniques and modalities that I can use include Acupuncture (Medical / Dry Needling / Traditional), active rehabilitation, soft tissue work (ART/Graston), and if warranted spinal manipulation. My objective is to complete your treatment goals with you in an effective and efficient manner.
Outside of the clinic, depending on the time of year, I can be found skiing and volunteering with the Canadian Ski Patrol, or mountain biking in the Don Valley. I also love to catch a fitness class whether it be HIIT, boxing, or resistance training, and explore the amazing food scene that Toronto has to offer.
