Continuing Education: - Fundamentals of Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Compentency-Based Course (2026) - AIM Physiotherapy Program Level 2 Lower Quadrant (2025) - Custom Orthotics (2025) - Advanced ACL Rehabilitation (2024) - Evaluation and Treatment of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) (Level 1) (2025) - Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science (2024) - Neurokinetic Therapy (Level 1) Certified (2023 History: Since I was young I have always loved sports and movement. I've always been drawn to sports like soccer, volleyball, rugby, and ultimate frisbee. Sports are one of my favourite ways of meeting new people and forming connections. My passion for movement and meeting new people led me to pursue physiotherapy where I could make an impact on people's lives by helping them move and feel their best. Current: Preston completed his Master of Physical Therapy Program in 2022 and has continued to take additional courses to broaden his knowledge and advance specific skills. He thoroughly enjoys working with people helping them understand HOW they got injured and works individually with each person to help them take control of their pain or injuries. By combining patient education with highly specific exercise programs, and manual therapy he creates a holistic and individualized treatment plan to help people get back to doing what they love. Preston's style of assessing and treatment searches for the root cause of your aches and pains and creates unique self management strategies to help you take control of your pain. He takes an interest in working with Neurological Disorders, TMJ (jaw) disorders, Vestibular disorders (dizziness and balance), neck, shoulder, and foot related injuries. Outside of the clinic, Preston is an avid cook experimenting and perfecting his craft. If he's not doing that then he is likely weightlifting, travelling, hiking, playing disc golf, snowboarding, or walking his dog. Quirks: Likes: Cooking, a good cup of coffee, travelling, and hiking. Dislikes: Being stuck in traffic, being deprived of coffee, mosquitos, and the smell of burnt toast

I can’t say enough good things about this place! My teenage son started seeing Preston for physiotherapy and he has put him back together from his sports injuries! We also talked about the benefit of strength training with playing hockey and signed him up for the sport academy. This program helped him improve his strength and even game play. Having a trainer teach him about weights and mobility etc. has helped him immensely! Even his dad has started working out there too ;)Lire la suiteRéduire

Physiotherapist Preston Tran at Strive Fitness and Therapy guided my physio after my total knee replacement. I couldn’t be happier with the treatment I received. Preston was friendly, professional, encouraging, respectful and made me laugh when the going was rough. I believe that my positive physio experience was very much responsible for my good progress.Lire la suiteRéduire
