As Registered Clinical Counsellor, I understand the vulnerability of attending counselling and provide clients with time and space to share their thoughts and inner dialogue. I work with my clients on forming a sense of self and accepting their unique identity. I offer both individual and relationship counselling in a safe and supportive environment. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and grief, life transitions, cultural exploration, family and social relationships, and self-identity. I draw on aspects from different modalities including; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Adlerian, Strength-Based approach. I am a person of color and work with clients in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens and work collaboratively on gaining insights, healing, and creating a more fulfilling life.
