You may find yourself carrying experiences that still affect you—long after they’ve ended. You might feel stuck in patterns you don’t understand, overwhelmed by emotions, or disconnected from yourself or the people around you. Trauma, loss, betrayal, separation, and painful life experiences can leave lasting impacts, making it hard to feel calm, secure, or fully present. Many people begin to wonder, “Why do I feel this way?” or “Will this ever get easier?”
In our work together, we shift the focus from asking “What’s wrong with me?” to gently understanding “What’s happened to me?”
I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences at your own pace. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, more in control of your emotions, and more connected to yourself and your life.
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as Brainspotting Therapy, both gentle and effective approaches that help the brain and body process difficult experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming or present. Many clients find that EMDR and Brainspotting helps reduce emotional intensity, allowing them to move forward with greater clarity and relief.
I also support individuals and families navigating relationship challenges, separation, divorce, betrayal, and family conflict. Whether you are working toward healing a relationship, co-parenting more peacefully, or simply trying to find your footing again, we focus on practical tools, emotional understanding, and rebuilding a sense of safety and connection. My goal is to help you feel less stuck and more at ease—so you can move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and emotional balance.
Experience: I am a Registered Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor, Clinical Traumatologist, with specialized training in EMDR & Brainspotting. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals through complex and challenging life experiences.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the legal field, where I saw firsthand the impact of trauma, loss, and adversity. These experiences shaped my deep respect for each person’s story and my belief in the human capacity for healing and growth.
I bring a steady, compassionate presence to therapy and am committed to helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
