Rachel Schmidt
À propos de Rachel
Dans ses motsRachel Schmidt, Certified Athletic Therapist, RYT
> "Good rehabilitation starts with understanding your story".
Rachel is passionate about helping people move with confidence and get back to doing the activities they love. While she enjoys working with athletes, you definitely don’t need to be one to work with her. Her care is for anyone whose body isn’t moving the way they’d like it to, whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing ongoing pain, returning to an activity you’ve been missing, or simply wanting to move through everyday life more comfortably.
Rachel takes the time to understand where you are now, where you’d like to be, and what might be standing in the way. From there, she works alongside you to create a realistic plan to bridge that gap. Her approach is collaborative, practical, and exercise based, with a focus on helping you understand your body and feel more confident using it.
Rachel is also a certified yoga teacher and loves sharing yoga and movement with others. Her yoga training complements her work as an Athletic Therapist, bringing another perspective to how she explores movement, mobility, strength, and body awareness with her patients.
Treatment may include soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, movement, education, and individualized exercise therapy. Everything is tailored to your goals, your lifestyle, and what feels manageable for you. Rachel believes rehabilitation should fit into your life, not take it over.
Ultimately, her goal is to help you move beyond simply managing an injury and toward feeling capable and confident in your body again.
Outside the clinic, Rachel stays active with her Vizsla, Kari. Together they’ve explored an impressive list of dog sports, including agility, barn hunt, field work, water sports, conformation, and scent detection. When she’s not adventuring with Kari, Rachel enjoys knitting and sewing, and will happily admit she’ll choose pen and paper over technology whenever she can.
