Sometimes negative life events disconnect us from ourselves, and create difficulties in our relationships with others. I am passionate about helping you build that connection back with yourself, with the people you love and live purposeful, meaningful lives. Whether you are experiencing stress or are struck in unhealthy behaviors and patterns, I can help you on your healing journey to be your authentic, whole self – the you that is curious, connected and confident. I work from a strength-based, trauma-informed and person-centered lens where we uncover what thoughts, behaviors and beliefs get in the way of you living your truth and a life where you can thrive and grow. I use an eclectic approach with the following modalities: EMDR, IFS, attachment theory, ACT, solution-focused, DBT, mindfulness and clinical hypnosis. My practice is tailored to each person’s wants and needs in our sessions. I take into account the style, personality and experiences of the person I am working with. I collaborate with you to build a safe and respectful space in the therapy room. Furthermore, I work with your comfort level to provide culturally informed and identity-based care as needed.
