Reaching out for support and prioritizing your mental health is a monumental step, and I am
honoured to accompany you on this journey. I offer empathic, personalized, client-focused care
and work from a holistic framework that integrates all aspects of your life. I prioritize trauma-
informed, anti-oppressive practices, and I work collaboratively to draw on my clients’ strengths
and focus on their desired goals. I currently offer individual therapy and work with adults and
teens (16 years and up).
I am a Lebanese-Canadian immigrant, which gives me a unique understanding of the challenges
inherent to cultural integration and the immigrant experience. Therefore, I prioritize cultural
humility and sensitivity, and recognize the importance of incorporating your personal values into
therapeutic interventions. I use an integrative framework that draws on a number of evidence-
based modalities, in order to tailor the counselling process to each client’s needs.
I support
clients with a variety of mental health issues, and have a Master’s Degree in Counselling
Psychology, and a Post-graduate certificate in addictions and mental health.
My approach in therapy aims to not only address presenting concerns, but to facilitate a deeper
exploration of the core underlying issues that often drive many of the challenges clients come
across. Regardless of what struggle is showing up in your life, you can count on finding a safe,
non-judgemental and validating space with me where we can work together to meet your needs.

###Emotionally-focused individual therapy (EFIT)
EFIT is an attachment science-based approach to individual therapy that focuses on reshaping
patterns of engagement with others and the inner working model of the self. This therapeutic
modality centers core emotions and meaning-making processes to target stress response patterns
that often pose a challenge to having positive interpersonal and intrapersonal dynamics. The goal
of EFIT is to enable clients to shape a coherent sense of a competent self that can deal with
existential life issues and become a fully engaged version of themselves.
