About Reed
Reed is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. He is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and authentic counselling experience, supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change.
Reed takes a client-centered and collaborative approach, focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported. With extensive experience working with vulnerable populations from diverse backgrounds, he meets clients where they are and helps them draw on their strengths to achieve their goals.
In individual therapy, Reed integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy. He has experience supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation.
For couples, Reed incorporates the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict, deepen intimacy, and adapt to life’s transitions together.
Outside of his professional work, Reed values connection, balance, humour and authenticity - qualities he also brings into the therapy room. He strives to create a space where clients feel safe to explore, grow, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live.
