Renae Calder
À propos de Renae
Dans ses motsI believe all people have the capacity to find healing and discover hope when given the opportunity and tools to uncover what already exists inside of them - the power to change and grow. I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey through which the client is the expert of their life and I am privileged to join their journey to give support, clarity and guidance.
Through person-centered and strengths based approaches, I meet each person where they are at, paying attention to how their mind, body and soul combine to make a whole. I incorporate play-based approaches, ART (accelerated resolution therapy), cognitive behavioral approaches, parts work, and exploratory approaches such as sand tray.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor, in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am also in the process of becoming a Certified Play Therapist, with membership with the Canadian Association of Play Therapy. I hold a master’s degree in Human Development Counselling, and an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Counselling.
