Dans ses motsRick Fryzuk is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated in 1994 from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. After working in several different physio clinics and gaining extensive experience in Orthopaedics Rick decided to open Brooklin Village Physiotherapy in 1999 in order to provide the treatment he felt was lacking in his home community. Over the years Rick has continued to put a strong emphasis on his post graduate education finishing the former EV Series of courses and then completing the Advanced Spinal Manipulative Therapy Specialization Program with internationally recognized physiotherapist Wendy Aspinall. Rick also completed the McKenzie International Series of courses for spinal treatment and successfully challenged the McKenzie Credentialing examination. Rick also has extensive experience in the treatment of sports injuries coming from his time as the Chief Physiotherapist for the Ontario Provincial Women's Field Lacrosse Team, working with the Brooklin Redmen Lacrosse team, working with international level Figure skaters and hockey players and through treating numerous high level athletes in the clinic. Rick continues to work extensively with athletes from various sports both professionals and amatuers including hockey, figure skating, lacrosse, soccer, rugby and baseball to name a few. Rick's desire to continually learn and further his education saw him return to complete his Master's degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy, MClSc (Manip) from the Western University. Rick has always believed learning is lifelong and enjoys mentoring University Physio students and giving High School students co-op experiences. When Rick isn't in the clinic you will most likely find him on two wheels either mountain biking or road cycling; on the water either canoeing, kayaking or on his SUP; downhill skiing or relaxing at home with his family most likely watching sports or listening to music on vinyl.
