Dans ses motsRita is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#3402) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology Major and Music Minor at the University of British Columbia and a Master of Counselling from Trinity Western University. She has always been fascinated by the human mind and behavior, and she has a deep love for music.
Since 2004, Rita has worked with children and adults in both community and clinic settings, providing support and treatment for those navigating life's challenges including:

• Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and other Vagus Nerve/Nervous system strengthening interventions
• Parts work (Internal Family Systems/IFS informed)
• Mindfulness-informed models: Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
