Hi I’m Robert, the Founder and Clinical Director of Grigore Counselling and Associates. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor, EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved EMDR Consultant, creator of Total Immersion EMDR, and the author of You Need Therapy. EMDR: Real People With Real Problems Getting Real Help. I bring over a decade of clinical experience shaped by overcoming challenges like anxiety, depression, bullying, addiction, suicidal ideation, abusive relationships, and low self-esteem.
I specialize in EMDR intensives for both individuals and couples (Total Immersion EMDR) and hold an LGBTQIA2S+ positive space. I’m the host of The Mental Health Show With Robert Grigore and I’ve been featured on Global News, CTV, Let’s Talk EMDR! With Kim Howard (EMDRIA’s podcast) (and probably a hundred more interviews), but my greatest privilege is supporting clients on their healing journeys.
Outside of work, I’m married, a proud father of two young children and two cats, and I’m a board member of a Non-Profit Organization called The Unlimited Worth Wellness Society (dedicated to helping individuals overcome barriers to healing childhood trauma).
