About Sabina
Physiotherapist, IMS (Chan Gunn) Practitioner, Fascial Manipulation® Fellow, Hand Therapy Fellow
Sabina is a globally trained physiotherapist with over a decade of diverse experience across Europe, Canada, and New Zealand. Her clinical focus lies at the intersection of Hand Therapy and Fascial Manipulation®, with a special interest in complex musculoskeletal, amputee, and post-stroke rehabilitation. She brings a hands-on, holistic, and evidence-based approach to care, prioritizing functional recovery.
Sabina has completed a wide range of advanced certifications, including IMS (Chan Gunn) dry needling, McKenzie Method® (Part A), PNF®, Complex shoulder and knee therapy, and multiple European Manual therapy techniques. Her training spans neuromuscular rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, and biomechanical assessment. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Advanced Health Care Practice in Upper Extremity Rehabilitation at the University of Western Ontario (UWO). Sabina is completing the practical portion of her Master's degree under the direct supervision of clinic co-owner, Trevor Fraser. Concurrently, she will be pursuing addition training in the Stecco Fascial Manipulation® technique that will compliment her hand therapy and general physiotherapy practice. Currently Sabina offers services to all insurance types except ICBC.
Originally from the Czech Republic, Sabina has lived, worked, and happily gotten lost in New Zealand, the UK, and Portugal. A curious wanderer at heart, she enjoys chasing trails with her Miniature American Shepherd, discovering new corners of the world, and shooting hoops whenever she can.
