À propos de Sabrina
Dans ses motsSabrina is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She completed her Master of Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University.
Sabrina provides a safe and understanding space to collaborate on goals and to work towards healing and improved self-worth. She aims to facilitate a supportive discussion which creates an avenue for connection and relational recovery. She strives to encompass compassion, authenticity, and kindness, with sprinkles of humour. The goal is to offer a place where you feel safe and understood.
Sabrina uses modalities such as attachment theory, dialectical behavioural, emotion-focused, the Gottman method, polyvagal theory, and mindfulness-based approaches to identify the therapeutic avenue that best suits your needs. She is also skilled in sex-therapy and can offer EMDR.
With an extensive background in human services, Sabrina found her niche within counselling and psychotherapy. She previously worked as an Advanced Care Paramedic which motivated her to provide specialized support in mental health and wellness.
Sabrina works with youth (aged 10 and up), adults, couples, and families. She has a unique interest in working with developmental trauma, PTSD, complex relationships, sexuality, and intimacy related concerns.
