Sage is a registered acupuncturist who loves working with patients with MSK issues, digestive health, general management, women's health and those in need of mental health support. Sage's approach is calm, attentive, gentle, and pragmatic. She skillfully integrates various modalities into her treatments, including body acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Acupressure, Gua Sha, and Cupping. Additionally, she provides diet and lifestyle counseling from a TCM perspective. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Chinese Studies at the University of Dalhousie, after which she moved to China for a year to experience Chinese culture and lifestyle firsthand. There she was first introduced to acupuncture and Chinese medicine and from then on she was hooked! She moved back to Ontario and earned a Diploma of Acupuncture from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with additional certifications in cosmetic acupuncture.

Body Gua Sha is a therapeutic technique in TCM where a smooth-edged tool made of metal or other materials, is used to scrape the skin. Labour Induction/Birth Prep Acupuncture

« As you approach the final weeks of pregnancy, your body is already preparing for birth. Labour induction acupuncture is a gentle, natural treatment designed to support this process by encouraging your body to do what it is already preparing to do—when the time is right. Treatments help promote relaxation, improve circulation to the uterus and cervix, and support the natural hormones involved in labour. Many expectant parents leave feeling calmer, sleeping better, and more confident as they await their baby's arrival. For healthy, full-term pregnancies, treatments typically begin at 38–39 weeks, with 1–2 sessions per week. If you go past your due date, treatments may be recommended every 2–3 days until labour begins or your care plan changes. Most people benefit from 2–4 treatments. While acupuncture cannot guarantee labour will start, it may help prepare your body for birth and support a smoother transition into labour when your baby is ready.
