Discovery Call
« Mental health therapists offer virtual discovery appointments as a way to empower clients in determining if a prospective therapist is a good fit for them. During this free, 15-minute telehealth appointment, clients are able to briefly share their concerns, needs, and goals, and ask questions about therapeutic approach(es), treatment modalities, and practical matters, such as session fees and insurance coverage.
Since relationship is the foundation for making meaningful change, the discovery appointment gives clients the opportunity to briefly experience the therapeutic relationship and imagine/experience what it may be like to work with a mental health therapist. The mental health therapist may also make recommendations or provide a referral to another provider if they believe the client's needs would be better served by another mental health therapist.
You will receive a link to your telehealth appointment and your provider will join you virtually at your scheduled time! »Registered Provisional Couples Counselling
