About Samantha
I am a first-generation Canadian of Caribbean descent who grew up in the culturally diverse community of Scarborough. I have a deep appreciation for cultural humility and strive to provide collaborative, inclusive, and culturally responsive care that honours each person's unique background, identity, and lived experiences.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wondering if things can ever get better, know that meaningful change is within reach.
My role is to walk alongside you as we explore what's getting in the way of the life you want to live. I am here to help you work through anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, or the emotional impact of illness.
Together, we will work toward understanding emotional triggers, making sense of reactions to difficult life experiences, strengthen communication and boundaries, and develop practical coping strategies that create lasting, meaningful change.
Outside of my therapy work at For Health’s Sake, I am a healthcare provider in the Haematology and Oncology Program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), where I support the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families impacted by life-threatening illness. This work has deepened my understanding of grief, resilience, trauma, and the profound impact that illness can have on individuals and families.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you as you work toward the changes that feel most meaningful to you.
