Hi I’m Samira,
Many people seek counselling because they are struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, family pressures, cultural expectations, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life. They may feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or unsure about how to move forward.
I provide a warm, collaborative, and supportive space where clients can openly explore their concerns. My approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and solution-focused, while being tailored to each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals.
My goal is to help clients gain greater self-understanding, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen their relationships, and move forward with increased confidence, clarity, and resilience.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) and currently completing my Master of Counselling degree at City University of Seattle, Vancouver Campus. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and have experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families in educational and community settings.
My experience has included working with individuals and families navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, family conflict, cultural adjustment challenges, and neurodiversity-related needs, including autism.
I am committed to creating a warm, respectful, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Note: Sessions can be provided in English or Farsi.
