À propos de Sandra
Dans ses motsSandra Boulianne is a registered clinical counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Born and raised in Kitimat, BC, Sandra has called Prince George home since 2006 and loves the North…most of the time! Sandra holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree as well as a Master of Education Counselling degree, both from the University of Northern British Columbia. Having been a client of counselling as an individual and as part of a couple at various life stages, Sandra believes that most people benefit from talk therapy.
With over 10 years of experience working at the Crisis Centre for Northern BC, Sandra is passionate about suicide prevention, listening with care, and client empowerment. She offers a trauma-informed approach and is committed to creating a safe and respectful therapeutic working relationship with her clients. Sandra also has extensive training in grief and loss and recognizes that everyone’s journey is unique. She is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they find ways to heal and move forward at their own pace. In her work with couples, Sandra utilizes her training in emotion-focused therapy to assist them in achieving greater intimacy and connection, improving communication, and reducing strife. Additionally, Sandra can offer the option of faith-based therapy to those who wish to integrate Christian ideologies and principles to support the development and recovery of their emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. With Sandra's compassionate guidance, clients can expect to feel supported, heard, and empowered on their journey towards healing and growth.
