About Sandra
Hi, I’m Sandra.
I believe therapy can be a powerful space for growth, self-discovery, and positive change. My goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, build resilience, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. I am particularly passionate about fostering self-compassion and helping individuals reconnect with their strengths so they can move forward with greater clarity, balance, and purpose.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centred. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and accepted, allowing you to explore your thoughts and experiences openly. I understand that every person's journey is unique and influenced by many factors, including family, culture, relationships, and life experiences. Together, we will work to identify meaningful goals and create an approach that feels relevant and supportive to your needs.
My professional background includes experience in the non-profit sector, education, and living and working abroad, all of which have shaped my appreciation for diverse perspectives and life paths. I frequently work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and relationship difficulties, including concerns related to boundaries and codependency. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, I tailor treatment to each client's circumstances while remaining mindful of the ways grief, shame, and trauma can influence emotional well-being. My aim is to support you in creating lasting, meaningful change and a stronger connection with yourself and those around you.
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey toward growth and well-being.
