Sang started his journey into Health and Fitness at Niagara College (2010) and worked as a Personal Trainer until 2014. During this time Sang found that his true passion lies in therapy and rehab/prehab . It was at this point which he enrolled at the Ontario College of Health and Technology where he graduated from in 2016 as a Registered Massage Therapist.
Sang’s treatment can be best described as a Sports Massage with the expectation to improve function/performance and/or reduce pain and tension. However, this type of treatment is not just for athletes, it is beneficial for the general population, seniors, and active populations.
Over the years Sang has taken numerous continuing education courses. His main skill set is composed of Fascial Stretch Therapy (Medical Level 3), Active Release Technique(Full Body Certified), Acupuncture, and Fascial Release. He also utilizes his knowledge from his years as a personal trainer to recommend effective home care exercises and lifestyle changes to his clients.
With the combination of these skills it helps cover a wide variety of issues and offer many solutions and opportunities for improvement. This also allows him to personalize treatment plans and solutions especially when one skill may not work or is not appropriate for the given condition.
Outside of work Sang’s passions are fitness and food. You will find him dabbling in gymnastics and bodybuilding, as well as, expanding his culinary skills.
