Sarah-Jane has been a Registered Occupational Therapist in Ontario since January 2020. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Guelph in 2017, majoring in Adult Development and minoring in Family and Child Studies. Sarah-Jane then went on to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, graduating in 2019. Sarah-Jane grew up in Owen Sound, Ontario and enjoys spending time outdoors camping, being on the water or hiking in the Grey-Bruce area. After completing her Occupational Therapy degree, Sarah-Jane moved to Muskoka, Ontario and worked at a Children’s Treatment Centre for 4+ years supporting preschool and school aged children. She has assessed and provided intervention for children with various needs including sensory processing, fine and visual motor, activities of daily living and more. Sarah-Jane enjoys making sessions fun and engaging for her clients. She also likes to incorporate opportunities for nature-based programming whenever she can! Sarah-Jane sees the benefit of working as a team with her clients and families and providing recommendations that make sense for her client’s day to day life.
