Sarah is a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering compassionate counselling services in Abbotsford, BC, and online. She is particularly passionate and skilled in supporting individuals who have experienced abuse, coercive control, or complex relationship dynamics. Sarah helps clients gently untangle confusion and pain, guiding them toward clarity, safety, and a renewed sense of personal agency. She also offers thoughtful support for individuals navigating spiritual or religious questions, transitions, or distress, honouring the role these experiences can play in healing.
Her counselling approach is relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and non-pathologizing. Sarah practices from a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique story and resilience.
She integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to the individual needs, values, and goals of her clients.
