Satvir has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. She worked for a year as a Kinesiologist before beginning her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia. After graduating, Satvir lived in New York for 3 years where she worked as a physical therapist in a hospital and private clinic setting before returning back home to Canada. Since graduating in 2016, Satvir continues to work in both hospital settings and private practice.
Satvir has always had a strong interest in pelvic health physiotherapy and has taken several courses to be able to assess and treat clients dealing with pelvic pain or dysfunction. After receiving compassionate pelvic physiotherapy care during and after her own pregnancies, Satvir loves being able to help clients during their prenatal and postpartum stages of life. She enjoys being able to assist clients meet their treatment goals through a biopsychosocial approach, the application of education, manual techniques and exercise prescription.
In her spare time, Satvir enjoys going on walks with her family, hiking with her friends and travelling with her husband and daughters whenever she gets a chance.
Satvir offers services in both English and Punjabi.
