Shahla Bastani is a Registered Acupuncturist (R. Ac) in Ontario with extensive experience in women’s health, holistic wellness, and medical aesthetics. Before moving to Canada, she worked for over 20 years as a registered midwife in Iran, providing compassionate care and guidance to women throughout all stages of reproductive health. Shahla’s journey into acupuncture and integrative medicine was driven by her passion for addressing the root causes of health concerns. She holds a Diploma in Advanced Medical Spa Therapy, a Certificate in Cosmetic Acupuncture, and a Certificate in Weight Loss Management, allowing her to offer a unique combination of clinical expertise, aesthetic care, and holistic wellness strategies. Her areas of focus include menstrual health, fertility support, pregnancy and postpartum care, menopause management, pain relief, stress and sleep improvement, digestive and metabolic health, weight management, and cosmetic acupuncture for skin rejuvenation. Shahla’s approach is warm, patient-centered, and tailored to each individual. « Auricular or Ear Acupuncture can reduce cravings, help treat addiction, depression, and anxiety. It can also be used to treat trauma and provide relief from acute pain. Both ears are treated with five needles. After the needles are removed, ear seed adhesives are placed over each point for the use of acupressure.
