Shauna has been a practicing occupational therapist in Nova Scotia for nearly 20 years. She has extensive experience working in the mental health and addictions field, enabling her clients to achieve their goals using motivational interviewing, goal setting, behavioural activation, routine building and exposure therapy techniques.
Shauna has also worked with seniors throughout the province to help them to stay in their own homes as long as possible with a focus on function, safety and quality of life.
Shauna has a passion for assessment to help identify key strengths and interventions to support the areas of need.
Shauna brings a professional, fun and non-judgemental approach to all of her sessions.
Outside of work, Shauna loves to read, walk, play trivia and chase after her son.
