About Sidra
Sidra Ashfaque, RP (Qualifying)
Windsor, ON & Virtual Across Ontario
Sidra is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who values working with individuals from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds. As an immigrant to Canada, she brings personal insight into acculturative stress, identity shifts, and the grief of leaving loved ones behind. She strives to create an inclusive, culturally responsive space that honors the experiences, resilience, and strengths of immigrants and refugees.
Sidra supports youth and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, childhood trauma, and grief and loss. She also provides affirming, strength-based support to neurodivergent clients, with a focus on emotional regulation, burnout, and executive functioning.
Her approach is collaborative, person-centered, trauma-focused, and strength-based. She draws from cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Sidra brings a warm, down-to-earth approach and supports clients in moving toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.
Sidra is currently welcoming new clients for in-person sessions in Windsor and virtual sessions across Ontario and parts of Canada.
