Dr. Siyumi Mahavidanage is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered chiropractic care focused on improving movement, function, and overall quality of life. She takes a whole-body approach to treatment, recognizing that recovery often involves addressing multiple contributing factors rather than solely the site of pain. Her goal is to help patients move better, feel better, and return confidently to their daily activities while supporting long-term health and wellness. Dr. Mahavidanage earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after completing her Bachelor of Science at McMaster University. Her treatment approach combines a variety of techniques tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals, including spinal and extremity adjustments, soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, electroacupuncture, rehabilitation exercises, and personalized treatment planning. Her clinical interests include spinal and extremity manipulations (SMT and EMT), soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, electroacupuncture, TENS, IFC, shockwave therapy, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, vibration therapy, silicone cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). She also incorporates comprehensive orthopedic and neurological assessments, rehabilitation exercise programming, and individualized care plans into her practice. Dr. Mahavidanage enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from head to toe, with a focus on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active through Pilates, strength training, running, and exploring new fitness challenges. She also loves traveling, discovering new restaurants and cafés, and trying new hobbies and experiences whenever possible.
