My counselling approach is flexible and creative, with an emphasis on the importance of therapeutic connection. I am truly passionate about working with adolescents, teens, and families. I bring to you an open, accepting, safe space to support your healing journey! I offer in-person, tele-psychology, or therapeutic walk sessions outside.
I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology and have over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field with children, adolescents/teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I have spent many years working in court ordered programs for high-risk youth requiring generalized assessment and stabilization.
I utilize a variety of different therapeutic modalities including but not limited to; Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Polyvagal Theory.
I have two adult children and pull from my experience as a parent to help inform my practice. In my spare time you will find me playing sports, hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with my family.
