About Sophia
Sophia is a seasoned physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience delivering high-level, patient-centered care across clinical, hospital, and international healthcare environments. She holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy (2009) from McMaster University and has worked with a broad spectrum of patients, from individuals recovering in critical care settings to those seeking performance optimization and recovery from sports-related injuries.
Her career has also spanned executive leadership roles, including Executive Director and Vice President of Operations within a Family Health Team, as well as involvement in hospital departments and clinics across Canada, Mexico, and Dubai. These experiences have shaped her refined understanding of healthcare delivery, allowing her to bring a more elevated, thoughtful approach to the patient experience.
Sophia’s clinical philosophy is rooted in a premium, wellness-focused model of care, one that goes beyond symptom management to optimize movement, longevity, and overall well-being. Her treatments integrate hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture, and targeted movement strategies, all tailored to the individual. She takes a highly personalized approach, focusing on uncovering the root cause of dysfunction while supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and perform.
A dedicated yogi, Sophia brings a deep appreciation for mindful movement and body awareness into both her clinical practice and daily life. When she is not in the clinic, she is often found in the yoga studio at Life Time, continuing to refine her understanding of movement, balance, and holistic wellness.
Known for her attentive care and detail-oriented approach, Sophia works closely with each patient to create a seamless and elevated rehabilitation experience, whether they are recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or investing in their long-term health and vitality.
