About Stacy
Stacy Boone is a Master’s-level Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities across the lifespan. Her practice is grounded in a client-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed, cognitive, and holistic approach to therapy. This includes assessing, evaluating, reframing, and redirecting thoughts toward new perspectives, coping strategies, and meaningful change.
Stacy works with adults of all ages experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, loss, and life transitions. She understands that therapy can feel vulnerable and confronting, and believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Stacy works collaboratively with clients at their own pace to create a supportive, non-judgmental space focused on what feels most meaningful and helpful to them.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and the Strengths Perspective, Stacy believes therapy is a collaborative process. She tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, helping individuals build on their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
Her work is informed by evidence-based, culturally responsive, and relationship-focused practice, with a strong emphasis on resilience, empowerment, and connection.
