Do you ever feel like your stress, low self-esteem, low confidence, and possibly even anxiety, are getting in the way of you living your best life? Do you ever get told to “suck it up and be a man?” It is hard to manage these feelings on any given day, let alone a pandemic! Are you trying to quit smoking/drinking/drugs and looking for support, or for someone who just gets it? I can help explore these concerns and areas with you while offering different ways to cope and manage these overwhelming and “out of control” feelings.
I am very passionate about helping individuals grow and become better versions of themselves. I have a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto, and a diploma in Concurrent disorders, which means I have experience working with the unique dynamic of mental health and addictions. I have helped individuals stay sober, quit smoking, and manage anxiety, stress, and self-esteem for over five years.
I work from a client-centred, strengths-based approach, and have been trained in, and utilize several modalities and interventions for treatment such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based interventions, and motivational interviewing (MI). I believe that you are the expert on you, not the other way around. I strive to help you help yourself, and act as a guide to exploring and gently challenging your own thoughts and beliefs as we discover new insights and strengths about yourself while working together.

Free Consultation (New patient
« This is an optional appointment available for new clients only. A consultation can be helpful to see if you are comfortable working with me and to ask any questions you might have about what therapy would be like. »Social Work
« In general, social workers help people to address problems and stressors in their everyday lives. Social workers focus on the person within the wider context of their family, community and culture, and believe that personal problems are connected to larger societal issues. Social workers practice in many settings such as hospitals, doctor’s offices, health centres, schools, government offices, addiction treatment settings, in private practice, and more.
Many social workers are trained in psychotherapy, sometimes called counselling or therapy. In Ontario, to use the term ‘social worker,’ all practitioners must be registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). The college regulates the practice of social work and promotes ethical and professional practice.
Our mental health professionals offer counselling to those dealing with anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship difficulties and grief. With therapeutic interventions we support clients so that they can understand their thoughts and feelings in new and more helpful ways, a process that can lead to healing. Sometimes therapy can be anxiety-provoking; during sessions, we strive to create a comfortable and calm experience for you. »Disponibilités : vérifié il y a 2 h · les prix viennent directement de la clinique — jamais majorés
