Sylvia has always had a passion for helping people discover the body’s innate ability to heal and recover through a balanced blend of Western and Eastern medicine. Acupuncture has become the perfect path for her to follow this calling.
Her journey began more than twelve years ago as a Paramedic, where she provided acute care in moments of crisis. Over time, her passion shifted toward treating the complexity of injury and illness in a more holistic way. This led her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where she discovered how Eastern medicine can beautifully complement Western approaches to health.
Sylvia has received extensive training in orthopaedic sports medicine acupuncture, which allows her to offer sports medicine and physiotherapy-style treatments. She focuses on injury rehabilitation, pain management, and supporting active individuals in reaching their highest potential.
By combining her background in emergency medicine, her training in TCM, and her advanced skills in sports medicine acupuncture, Sylvia provides a comprehensive and integrated approach to healing. Whether someone is recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking to optimize overall wellness, she tailors treatments to support both body and mind.

Tui Na Appointment
« Tui Na (pronounced "twee-nah") is a therapeutic form of Chinese medical massage that has been used for thousands of years. Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Tui Na focuses on restoring balance by stimulating acupressure points, improving the flow of Qi (energy), and enhancing circulation throughout the body.
Your session may involve a combination of techniques, including kneading, rolling, pressing, and stretching, to address musculoskeletal tension, pain, or internal imbalances. Tui Na is effective for a wide range of concerns including chronic pain, stress, tension headaches, fatigue, digestive issues, and sports injuries. This service is a blend of both Tui Na and Acupuncture.
Unlike relaxation massage, Tui Na is targeted and therapeutic, often performed through clothing or with minimal oil. Each treatment is tailored to your specific health needs and may be combined with other TCM modalities such as cupping or gua sha when appropriate.
Ideal For:
