She is a registered acupuncturist in both Alberta and British Columbia. Dr. Tang’s career reflects a steadfast commitment to both clinical practice and education. After earning her Doctor of Chinese Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, specializing in women’s health and health maintenance, she has provided outstanding patient care through acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments. With over 18 years of clinical experience across various settings in Hong Kong, Dr. Tang also served as a Senior Lecturer at a teaching clinic, sharing her expertise with future healthcare professionals. This combination of hands-on experience and academic knowledge, along with her Master of Public Health degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, highlights her exceptional ability to communicate complex medical concepts to diverse audiences. Dr. Tang’s clinical expertise covers a wide range of internal and external health concerns, including menstrual issues, digestive disorders, acute and chronic pain management, and insomnia. She practices needle acupuncture, cupping, and Gua Sha, grounded in traditional Chinese medicine principles and supported by evidence-based research. Beyond her professional qualifications, Dr. Tang is known for her warm, compassionate approach to patient care. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she ensures clear and effective communication throughout the treatment process.
