À propos de Tammy
Dans ses motsLife’s challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. You may be carrying the weight of past wounds, navigating stress and anxiety, or struggling in your relationships. It’s easy to feel lost in these moments, wondering if things will ever change. But healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, heal from past experiences, manage stress and anxiety, and build stronger, more connected relationships. Relationships are at the heart of well-being—whether with a partner, family, or yourself—and I believe that feeling heard and understood is the first step toward meaningful change. My approach is holistic and person-centered, ensuring that you feel safe, supported, and empowered to share your story.
With 17 years of experience supporting students and families with school absenteeism and mental health concerns, and the last four years in private practice, I understand how life transitions, emotional struggles, and relationship difficulties can impact well-being.
Client Focus: Couples, Families, Individuals & Youth (13+)
Types of Therapy: I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, drawing from Strength-Based Therapy (SBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Attachment Cognitive Therapy (ACT), Emotional Focus Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy (TIT)
Areas of Focus: Whether you are facing anxiety, self-esteem challenges, stress, grief, or difficulties in your relationships, I am here to help.
More than just my work: Outside of therapy, I find joy in gardening, baking, sharing a good meal, and spending time with friends and family. I prioritize self-wellness by being outdoors, walking, playing with my dog, Kamo, and connecting with nature. Just as I encourage my clients to find ways to care for themselves, I believe in the importance of creating balance and space for what brings peace and fulfillment.
You deserve support, healing, and the chance to move forward with confidence. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey.
