Tammy St Louis is an Integrative Nurse Practitioner who practises using a combination of functional and conventional medicine in order to help people live healthier lives. Her focus is general health for both males and females, with a special interest in health prevention and longevity. She believes that people hold the power to change their health span and she provides actionable, evidence based healthcare to help them do this.
Tammy grew up in Spruce Grove, AB and has lived in the Tri area with her family for many years. She is passionate about improving the health of the community and believes it is never too late to change your health story.
Tammy has over ten years of Nursing experience. Most recently, she obtained her Master of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Saskatchewan in 2019 and added her certification in functional medicine through Functional Medicine University in 2023. She has worked in Primary Care in a Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic as well as at the University of Alberta in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Cancer. Tammy graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science as a Registered Nurse in 2013 and worked in perioperative nursing.
Tammy’s additional education and certifications include a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta (2004) and Precision Nutrition Certification Level 1(2020). Tammy is also proud to be a founding member and active participant with CanDASHA, Canadian Society for the Development, Aid, and Sustainable Health Abroad. She volunteers on the executive and has attended several medical and humanitarian trips to La Paz, Bolivia.

« The focus of these appointments includes review of hormone related symptoms and check in on health goals chosen by the patient at previous visits. This may include addressing sleep hygiene, mood related concerns, nutrition, movement and general health concerns. Frequency of follow ups are recommended on an individual basis, but are likely scheduled every 2-3 months. Refills of hormones will be given at this appointment that will carry patients through to yearly review appointment. »2 options

Hormone Health Yearly Review
« Patients will be provided lab requisitions for this appointment for comprehensive hormone review. At this appointment hormone medications will be adjusted based on symptoms and correlating lab values. A comprehensive health review is included in this appointment including a functional review of health. Refills of hormones will be provided at this appointment. A 6 week check in appointment is included in this appointment and repeat labs as necessary to ensure appropriate response to treatment. »

Hormone Initiation AppointmentNew patient
« At this visit, the patient will get a comprehensive review of their completed labs with a focus on hormones. Included in this review will be suggestions for preventative, metabolic, cardiovascular and overall health. Follow up of health goals from the patients intake appointment as well as any new health goals will be addressed. Prescriptions for hormones will be given to patients at this time. Cost of hormones are the responsibility of the patient. This appointment includes 6 week follow up labs and a 10 minute complementary check in for symptom review and med adjustment. »2 options
