À propos de Taya
Dans ses motsTaya is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 16 years of experience helping parents achieve their own unique feeding goals. She sees parents postpartum in their homes, virtually, and at the Kidcrew Lactation Clinic located in the Toronto area. She has been teaching group and private Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes for over 10 years and also teaches Introduction to Solids Classes. She originally began her journey into helping nursing mothers by studying and subsequently interning at the International Breastfeeding Centre (Newman Breastfeeding Clinic).
She graduated with a Lactation Medicine Degree in 2011. In 2018 she attended the IBCLC Masterclass training in New York with a focus on the oral habilitation of the breastfeeding dyad. She has breastfed two little girls and knows that breastfeeding comes with challenges but also with a lot of joy!
