Dans ses motsTracy is naturally curious, open-minded, and empathetic. She has experienced her own challenges and struggles in life, which led her to counselling, and it is this experience that drives her passion to support others. She strives to create a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients, so they can feel heard, understood, and safe.
Tracy’s approach to counselling is multicultural and feminist-informed. She take into account the unique needs of each individual, as well as the impacts of culture, race, gender, and socio-economic status. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through active listening and compassionate dialogue, she is able to provide guidance and support to help navigate life’s challenges.
In her free time, she enjoys a wide variety of activities that help keep her balanced and connected to her community. She loves exploring new restaurants, trying different cuisines, and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys knitting for relaxation and feels fortunate to be able to travel and experience different places in the world. These experiences help her stay connected to her own life and to the lives of her clients.
Tracy Lewis attended the University of Saskatchewan for her Bachelor’s degree and achieved a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
