About Tsilia
Tsilia Dinaburgsky is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with a strong background in cognitive science and over 10 years of experience supporting neurodiverse children, youth, and families. She specializes in working with children who present with speech and language delays, self-regulation challenges, social-communication difficulties, anxiety, ADHD, autism, and early developmental delays.
Tsilia uses an integrative, neurodevelopmental, and play-based approach that is tailored to each child’s developmental profile, strengths, and needs. Her work is especially helpful for children who struggle to express themselves, become easily overwhelmed, have difficulty with transitions, show delays in social engagement or functional communication, and experience challenges related to developmental level, listening, following rules, routines, or age-appropriate expectations.
Drawing on principles of neuroplasticity, Tsilia believes that with the right support, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Therapy focuses on building foundational skills in emotional regulation, communication, social understanding, and resilience through developmentally appropriate, relationship-centered interventions.
A core part of Tsilia’s work involves parent and caregiver collaboration. She works closely with families to support carry over of skills into everyday routines, helping parents better understand their child’s developmental needs and feel more confident responding to challenges.
Tsilia has experience working across home, community, school-based, clinical, and residential settings, and provides both individual child sessions and parent-supported interventions. She is committed to inclusive, accessible, and developmentally informed mental health care that meets children where they are and supports long-term growth.
