« This session integrates registered massage therapy with remedial exercise to support the physical demands of postpartum recovery. Treatment remains fully within the massage therapy scope of practice and includes hands-on assessment, manual therapy, and clinically appropriate exercise instruction based on the client’s current stage of postpartum healing.
This appointment takes place in a private movement space rather than the traditional massage room. This allows us to combine manual therapy with targeted exercises that support rebuilding foundational strength, improving mobility, and helping the body adapt to the functional demands of caring for a baby.
Treatment focuses on:
• addressing postpartum discomforts such as low back pain, upper-body tension from feeding and carrying, pelvic or hip tightness, and mobility limitations
• supporting the gradual rebuilding of core, pelvic, and postural strength in a clinically appropriate and pain-free manner
• restoring functional movement patterns to help manage the daily demands of motherhood
• improving mobility and stability for realistic tasks such as lifting a baby, carrying a car seat, bending, squatting, or moving through the day with increased ease
• working within each client’s unique healing stage and respecting their current capacity to ensure safe, appropriate progress without overexertion
This session is intended for individuals seeking hands-on treatment with integrated movement support to help them feel strong, mobile, and confident in their postpartum body while building a foundation that supports both recovery and daily motherhood demands. »PRENATAL Massage Therapy + Remedial Exercise
« PRENATAL Massage Therapy + Remedial Exercise
This session combines registered massage therapy with remedial exercise to address the physical demands of pregnancy and support the body’s preparation for birth. All treatment remains within the massage therapy scope of practice and includes hands-on assessment, manual therapy techniques, and clinically appropriate exercise instruction tailored to the client’s stage of pregnancy.
This appointment occurs in a private movement space rather than the traditional massage room. The combined approach allows us to address current pregnancy-related discomforts and support the body’s ability to move, adapt, and function efficiently as it continues to change.
Treatment focuses on:
• reducing or managing common prenatal discomforts such as low back pain, pelvic tension, upper-body tightness, and mobility restrictions
• improving muscle balance and joint mobility to accommodate a growing belly and shifting posture
• supporting functional movement patterns to help decrease strain on the low back, hips, and pelvic region
• preparing the body for labour by promoting mobility, stability, and ease of movement
• laying a foundation that may support postpartum recovery, as strength, mobility, and functional patterns established during pregnancy can positively influence the early postpartum period
This session is appropriate for individuals looking for hands-on treatment with integrated clinical exercise, aimed at improving comfort, mobility, and physical readiness for birth. »Disponibilités : vérifié il y a 2 h · les prix viennent directement de la clinique — jamais majorés
