Dans ses motsVikki is a highly experienced clinician with a kind, compassionate demeanour. She holds a Master of Counselling in Applied Psychology and has been practicing as a Registered Psychologist in Alberta since 2007.
Experienced in private practice, neurorehabilitation, and education settings, Vikki maintains the highest professional and ethical standards. Whether supporting clients with their mental-health concerns, or providing comprehensive psycho-educational assessment for post-secondary accommodations, Vikki is a dedicated professional with a focus on helping individuals realize their fullest potential.
As a therapist, she provides counselling support for a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, single-event trauma, complex trauma, chronic pain, low self-esteem, and stress/anger management. Evidence-based treatments are the cornerstone of client success. Applied modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Vikki also has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and is a Full Member of the EMDR International Association.
As an assessor, Vikki applies strong clinical judgement to inform psycho-educational assessment findings. Through her extensive career of nearly 17 years with the Calgary Board of Education, Vikki has honed her diagnostic and assessment skills using such measures as the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), the Wechsler Adult Scale of Intelligence (WAIS-IV), and the Weschler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III). She is also skilled in the clinical diagnosis of mental-health concerns as affecting individual success and/or psychological wellbeing.
Through a respectful, collaborative framework, Vikki identifies goals that are both client-centered and mutually established. She looks forward to supporting you on your treatment or assessment journey.

« During this parent-attended Intake Appointment, consent for service will be discussed, along with initial parent/guardian interviewing to ensure a best fit in meeting your child's counselling needs.
If a custody/parenting order is in place, consent is required from each parent/guardian prior to your child receiving service.
