Dans ses motsWarren Hitzig is a highly experienced Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with over 10 years of clinical practice dedicated to comprehensive, patient-centered care. He specializes in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological, visceral, and cranial-vertebral-sacral conditions, helping patients restore balance and support the body's innate capacity for healing through skilled hands-on treatment, patient education, and lifestyle guidance.
Warren earned his Diploma in Osteopathy from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (2013–2017) and has a strong foundation in biomechanics through his Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician training at George Brown College (2003–2005). He is deeply committed to lifelong learning and advanced osteopathic education. From 2020 to 2025, he completed the prestigious five-year Fellowship Program in the Evolution of Osteopathic Theory (EVOST) in Maaseik, Belgium, while also pursuing advanced studies at Morphologicum in physiology, embryology, visceral anatomy, and clinical physiology. Since 2022, he has continued his education in Biodynamic Osteopathy.
Warren has trained under internationally recognized osteopaths, including Eric Sanderson, Jane Stark, Max Gérardin, Jean-Paul Höppner, and Dr. Emmanuel Frantzis,. He has also served as a Teaching Assistant for Jane Stark in fascia and other advanced osteopathic courses, further deepening his understanding of osteopathic principles while mentoring the next generation of practitioners.
In addition to his clinical practice at Creekside Health in Vancouver, Warren serves as Director of the British Columbia campus for the Academy of Progressive Osteopathy. His academic work reflects his passion for advancing the profession through research. He completed a thesis involving a pre-post pilot study on sensory testing using Semmes-Weinstein monofilaments and is currently beginning his second thesis, a qualitative study exploring the perception of touch and its role within osteopathic practice.
Warren integrates a broad range of osteopathic approaches into his treatments, including Biodynamic Osteopathy, cranial and cranial-vertebral-sacral osteopathy, visceral and embryological techniques, muscle energy methods, orthopaedic assessment, and functional rehabilitation. His philosophy centres on creating a safe, supportive environment where patients can reconnect with their body's natural capacity to heal. By combining evidence-informed practice with continual advanced education, he provides thoughtful, individualized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Outside the clinic, Warren enjoys reading, cooking, and spending quality time with his family.
